Major weather change: from snow to 17 degrees in two days
It still felt wintry in the country this week, with a layer of snow or sleet in quite a few places, but in two days it will suddenly look very different. The weather picture will change significantly. On Sunday, temperatures of 17 degrees are possible in the south.
That is different from what we have seen in recent days. On Tuesday, the first snow of this autumn fell in the north of the country and this morning there was another white layer in various parts of the country. That caused a lot of inconvenience on the road, with both a busy morning and evening rush hour. Tonight and tonight it may also be slippery on the road.
Storm Bert
The temperatures around freezing point will disappear in the next two days. The mercury will rise considerably during that time. That is due to Bert, a storm that is hanging over Great Britain and Ireland, says weatherman Peter Kuipers Munneke. “There will be storms this weekend and that storm will suck warm air from Southern Europe into our area.”
In the south, it could be 17 degrees on Sunday, in the middle of the country around 15 degrees and in the northeast 13 degrees. “That is special in any case,” says Kuipers Munneke. “If it does indeed get warmer than 15 degrees in De Bilt, that will only be the fifth time since 1901, when measurements began.”
Strong wind
There is an important caveat to this, because according to the weatherman, anyone who thinks that a beautiful spring-like day is on the program will be disappointed. “It will be so warm because of a strong wind. On the coast and on the beach, wind force 6 or 7. You will notice that wind everywhere, also inland. And it will be quite cloudy. So it will be warm, but not windless and sunny.”
We will have to be patient for a few days for that weather, because according to Kuipers Munneke, peace will return afterwards. “Monday and Tuesday it will be a bit changeable with showers. It looks like it will be a bit quieter from Wednesday with 7 or 8 degrees. It will be dry with a slightly greater chance of sun.”

what I have wrote before that heat source 2 for Europe will be started in December, but it is now a little earlier
Heat Source 2 for Europe first start this weekend, and The next heat wave follows because high pressure fails To be connected to Greenland and scandinavie
Domination of Southwesterly winds over a long distance due to large low-pressure systems multi-core type of series.
Unfortunately they do not write
that this heat comes from the Azores area where the soft sea air is always between 15-20 degrees but that high temperatures are caused by the strong wind from southern Europe

Watching great vids of the UK storm on YouTube, major flooding, power outages. Many channels from Wales, they got trashed. Check some vids from Ireland and up North on the Land of the Scots. If regular “bombs” were as slow to develop as so-called “bomb cyclones” nobody would worry about getting blown up.
It looks more like the exaggeration of weather to increase ad revenue.
To be a weather bomb the central pressure of the low pressure system has to drop at least 24 millibars in 24 hours.

Cyclone off UK all weekend. Another cyclone N of Finland in the Arctic. Back to the same pattern no low N of Berlin like last week which pulled the cold air down into EU.
Low off UK handing up heat to the low above Finland all the way from Africa over the warmer than ave Atlantic O. Waves 47 feet forecast in the low off UK. Ditto, see above.
What’s a ditto?
A ditto is an Australian exact copy of a marsupial tyrannosaurus rex during a weather bomb.
Tastes like chicken?
What are you guys smokin’? I want some.
Tastes exactly like chicken, stirred clockwise.
