  2. Thanks for all of your work. So England is patting itself on the back for cutting emissions. Meanwhile, China matches that in an offsetting increase, and then does it again 19 times. That is a losing proposition! The foolishness of man and the lack of good old common sense is astounding.

    The CME will most likely hit Earth in the next 20-40 hrs from now (4:18 Pm Kentucky CST). HOPEFULLY IT MISSES Earth … mostly.

      24 hours later, flares have been blasting out since the M 3, nothing yuge but the one on the sat view now is impressive. The other half of the Sun is blank no spots. The areas of polarity on the Sun are switching quite a bit, I saved one time stamp of the polarity around X flare time:

      1. I’m finally going home today after 3 months recuperation from open heart surgery. I hope those flares don’t knock out the electrical system in my rig. I have a long drive home.

        1. Nice day for a drive. Monday afternoon forecast lightning storm MO cloud tops to 40k. Squall line from Austin Tx to Wa DC. Heat up from GOM, cold sinking down from Canada, typical spring pattern. Cooler behind the cold front in MO till next weekend, highs in the 50s. No worries, eh?

          My Aunt Sue’s neighbor and best friend had a fatal heart attack on the 18th and there was a direct hit solar flare that day.

          1. I think I went in the hospital on Dec 14. I don’t know if I had a heart attack. I suddenly started gasping for air, for about an hour till the paramedics put me on oxygen.
            I don’t know if I had an asthma attack or a heart attack or what. Later, after all was said and done, they told me I had a small amount of damage to my heart. So I guess it was a heart attack.
            All I know is they told me if I walked out of the hospital without getting the operation, I would shortly be dead.
            This condition was building for years, but who knows -maybe the solar flares triggered it.

          3. Wow, Dirk! The article says the flare peaked at 12:02 ET, which would have been 11:02 here. I don’t know what time I got hit–it was during the day–but it was like a bolt from the blue.

            I was sitting in my cabin, just fine, no problems, and suddenly I was gasping for air. My lungs were out of my control, heaving and heaving. It was the most terrifying experience of my life.

            As I said, my breathing calmed when the paramedics put me on oxygen. I ended up with a double bipass and aortic valve replacement. I’d been warned many times about the need for both. As I told my cardiologist, I’d been hoping I would die before I had to get cut open. But God had other plans for me.

            So I guess He used a solar flare to give me a swift kick into the hospital. I was willing to die of a heart attack, but couldn’t cope with smothering to death.

            He always gets His Way, lol.☺️

  10. Looking at the sun’s polarity back tin ’06 when the National Solar Observatory starts tracking it on the GONG site the Poles were stable. Red up top, green down under. The economy was stable, no major war type conflicts, gas was cheap, construction was booming. Sept ’06:

    Four years later the poles had started the flip, instability was ramping and by Dec the chaos started in the Middle East. Arab Spring just around the corner. Chaos everywhere. Sept ’10:

    Feb ’24: Polarities off to the sides bouncing about. No stability. Chaos. Polarities not looking solid and stable like ’06. The flares happen when the polarities are on the sides arcing off the planets. Stable at the poles, no flares and stability.

  11. SC25 above predicted is good news for growing food, we don’t want GSM. GSM bad news, we want the second peak to be stronger to grow food. I hope GSM predictions were flat out wrong, that would be good news. SC25 stronger than predicted is good news, celebrate.
