Is there another polar outflow forecasted for Canada? According to the environment Canada forecast we are scheduled to have warmer than normal temperatures across the country over the next 6 days.
“Washington drivers are paying billions more at the pump. For what, exactly?
“Right now, the national average for gas is $2.82 a gallon. Idaho is $2.80. Oregon is $3.39. Washington? We’re at $3.82 statewide. In Seattle, it’s $4.12.
“We have the third-highest gas prices in the entire country. Washington families have paid billions more at the pump since the Climate Commitment Act (CCA) took effect. Before the CCA, Seattle and Portland gas prices were basically the same. Now we’re paying more than 40 cents a gallon more than Oregon.”
RE the 96x figure:
“Here’s what they originally reported: 7.5 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions reduced.
Here’s the actual number: 78,000 tons.
They were off by a factor of 96.”
Don’t blame Oregon. Oregon is lead by similar idiots as in Washington who just believe without facts on what they are doing. Washington is simply lead by even more idiotic folks. We just need to not vote for them, while hoping more and more citizens figure it out and stop voting for the crazies.
Our two States need be building huge Nat Gas driven electrical power plants and oil refineries as fast as possible.
There’s currently 50cm of snow in parts of NE Scotland, measured at official weather stations, there’s almost certainly more in some places. Locals are saying this is the most snow they’ve seen for at least 50 years and there’s more to come.
Storm Gusetti is bringing more snow and strong winds to Scotland and the UK.
The Met Office has put in place an amber wind warning for gusts of 80 to 90mph in Cornwall on Thursday night, with large waves and debris causing a potential “danger to life”. Then, an amber snow warning on Thursday night and into Friday morning could bring up to 30cm of snow in Wales and the Peak District.
Four yellow weather warnings for snow and ice will cover other parts of the UK, including Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Midlands. Two more yellow alerts for rain are in place in eastern England and Wales, and another for wind in the South West, bringing the total number of alerts across the country on Thursday to nine. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/storm-goretti-snow-ice-warnings-uk-weather-live-updates-b2896178.html
I learned something today, from one of the words on the climate graphic: Gondwana.
Pangea I was somewhat familiar with. Gondwana was a huge mass of land that eventually broke apart to form South America, Africa, India and Australia and is said to somewhat predate Pangea. Pangea being all the land masses more or less together before they all separated into the continents we have today.
I got the message but I’m not sure I want to. I don’t have all that many years left, you know. There may be cold times coming, but I’ve been living in cold times most of my life. And I’m tired of it.

“The study shows that large ice loss can and does occur naturally, driven by natural long-term variability.”
Otherwise, we’d still be in the Ice Age.

I can’t imagine what your USA followers would make of the gas (petrol) prices inthe UK. The equivalent of around $7 per US gallon.
We’d be squawking, but you Brits are too polite to complain. We don’t have that problem, lol! 🤣
