Is the polar vortex that is reversing the same thing as the Beaufort gyre? The Beaufort gyre used to reverse every 11 years, but failed to switch last time, trapping a lot of fresh water. It has been written about that when it does finally reverse, and release all that fresh water, that we could have major freezing at the North Pole.
The Beaufort gyre is a circulating mass of sea water, so totally different to the polar vortex which is atmospheric. The 2 appear to be unrelated, but changes in one could affect the other as the oceans and atmosphere are a coupled system.
Just wait! As SC25 approaches its nadir and our modern Mini Ice age takes hold, these Arctic pumping Wizards will claim that they have single handedly stopped the Global Broiling.
Then Blow me if they don’t advocated sprinkling coal dust onto the polar caps to warm us up again
A few weeks ago It came to me to search for 2024 info on the Beauford Gyre and I found one that said that we were past the tipping point, then I printed it out and a day or so later I couldn’t find it nor any of all my material not even my book marks. So I searched the internet and most there are old posts from 2019, etc, and misinformation sites.
Yet Wood Hole Ocianic site says they have an early warning sys in place
