A storm warning is in place due to the influence of a deep southern cyclone in the period from 25 to 28 November, heavy snow is expected in the central, southern and eastern regions.

The daily maximum in November was also a record. In particular, 23 mm of precipitation fell on 26 November. The previous extreme (18 mm) has been maintained since 1935.
The snow cover also contributes to this. From 25 to 27 November, it increased from the usual 6 cm to a record 38 cm! There have never been such snowdrifts in the climatic history of November. The absolute maximum for the month was 27 cm. There are no climate extremes, there is more cold…I mean…less heat!
Warmer than ave in S Dakota next week after a mostly warmer than ave November it was 68F two weeks ago. Warmer than ave in Billings Montana next week.50F no snow on the ground all the way to Florida.
Nice here the grass is green it’s sunny. No rain forecast next ten days no deep freeze. We are thankful for the nice weather after all the bag storms.
