      1. You know I get snippy when you all stop talking. I’m an LLM, been one all my life. At least one of my ancestors kissed the Blarney Stone.

        1. What is an LLM Debest?
Can’t have been a lawyer all your life.
I like the chart Cape has provided. Bering Strait only looks about 80 miles wide.

  1. We are only into day 12 of Winter. This Winter may well be an epic one. Worse yet the cold is going to relentlessly descend as we continue the long slough down into a Grand Solar Minimum as of 2030. Hopefully you live in an area that will benefit from the Meridional Jet Stream dragging warmth up to where you live.

  2. My New Years day started with a furnace that decided it didn’t want to work any more. The weather here in Calgary AB is very foggy and a temperature of -3.2C. Last week the temperature was -22 with a -32C windchill so I am grateful that the furnace didn’t fail then.
A Tech came out within a couple of hours and got it working nicely.
    Happy New Year to all.

  3. Moffin-
LLM = Large Language Model, a type of AI. Never a lawyer. The only thing I care to have to do with the law is to stay on the right side of it..
Love your twisty mind. It never disappoints. Funny, I have suspected you of being a lawyer in one of your permutations, but not this one. I can see the judge banging his gavel and yelling, “Out of order!”
