After the tug from the gas giant alignment last year we ended up being just 1,899 miles further from the sun on that date. Seems insignificant but it is one more ingredient in the trending colder pie.
Good point Sir. The Goldilocks Zone is only so wide and we will be out near its farthest edge. Add Eddy Minimum to that along with Orbital Tilt increasing (hopefully not the reversal of the Beaufort Gyre) and that makes the Northern Hemisphere receiving less heat from the Sun. Damn…its gonna be a COLD 3-5 Decades!

Earth’s axial tilt oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees.
The reason for the tilt has strong consensus as being caused by alcohol consumption. The current phase heading for less extreme wobble is caused by a long term period of sobriety, possibly. Maybe?
