South Africa Chills; Canadian Prairies Swing; Study: Central Eurasia Cooled 2C Over The Past Two Decades; + How Pinatubo Changed The Weather Worldwide

Climate narratives are manufactured. Every spike in temperature is framed as confirmation. Every drop is ignored—and often erased.

    1. AccuWeather lowered the temp on that link 3 degrees from six hours ago at 2am. What percent of S Africans are shivering? Probably nada. 60F in Cape Town now not cold there it was 79 F there Saturday way above ave. Only cold up in the mountains where nobody is in the Magical Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho with mtn peaks to 11 424ft. BFD.
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lesotho

  1. A cold front approaching southern South Africa:

Cold Fronts. All districts in the W Cape are on standby: Colin Deiner weighs in.
Western Cape Disaster Management officials have warned the public to heed emergency warnings as the province gets ready for a series of cold fronts over the next few days. The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 weather warning for rainfall, high winds and waves expected along coastal areas.

    1. Yes Spink a cold front wow. It’s warmer now in Cape Town S Africa then it is inside my house. It’s warmer there at night than here and I don’t have a heater on. The only problem Africa doesn’t have is cold.

        1. Ya up in the mountains BFD.
Every warm front from solar flares has a cold front. Only looking at the cold fronts is stupid.

        2. Snow is rare in May in the Lady Frere, Maclear, Queen’s Mercy area. If it is falling at Sani Pass it is not far above those towns. Looking for snow, check Standerton. It will be as low as 2 deg and rainy in a few days. It doesn’t take much to have that turn to snow. In general, rain after 1 April is uncommon, and after 1 May is unusual.

          1. What could possibly be more remote obscure useless info that less people would give a crap about than a cold snap down there?
WTF could the average person care less about? How is that even possible?

    1. Wow! The roundshot! Is that a cloud or is it wind kicking up the snow? Either way, it’s a great photo.

      1. Ya that’s a cloud. The clouds just finally broke when I checked the cams, there’s been no viz for days. It’s been snowing up there and Mt Hood, Mt Bachelor direct drive from the volcanos from solar flares. Now that’s all cleared out and back to nice sunny weather no La Nina. Bad La Nina here it rains from October to July. Snow in the mountains here in June is normal.
So ya I skied after Mt Pinatubo there was waist deep powder snow and everybody knew global worming was a joke but we already knew that though like no Easter Bunny. Record snow in Cali two years ago was from volcanos from solar flares. I can show SO2 and flares.

    1. Can you demonstrate any relationship between electron/proton variations and Earth’s temperature/earthquakes?
Is there a graph that shows the relationship?

I started with one pic of a solar flare on an Economics Blog 3/9’11.
That solar flare caused the Japan Quake/tsunami/Fukushima explosion. Japan is a failed State.
Tonga was from a solar flare, electron spike. Many other volcanos were erupting. Scroll back on Daily Events Worldwide YouTube that’s all on there I can show ya the solar flare just google it. Look it up on SimSOlar to see where the planets were. May the Force be with you.

        1. I can’t see any correlation between electron graph, temperature graph and earthquakes?
          Where is the correlation?

      2. Hurricane Katrina, X 17 solar flare. Hurricanes are caused by heat.
        https://community.spaceweatherlive.com/topic/2090-x17-flare-on-this-day-in-2005/

Plenty of easy data to find out there is you look. I could fill pages of links.
Hurricane Helene last Fall. Solar flares, Mexi volcano. hurricanes are from heat. Go read about Solar Forcing on Ben Davidson’s vids. Cornvection.

        1. Compare to the strongest X28 solar flare. Solar flares below X10 are harmless:

The biggest solar X-ray flare ever is classified as X28
On Tuesday, 4 November 2003, this flare saturated the X-ray detectors on several monitoring satellites. The associated coronal mass ejection (CME) came out of the Sun’s surface at about 2300 kilometres per second (8.2 million km/h). Only part of the CME is directed towards Earth, so we expect the Earth will receive only a glancing blow, since the source region is pointing away from us on the right on the limb of the Sun as seen from Earth.
          https://www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Space_Science/Extreme_space/The_biggest_solar_X-ray_flare_ever_is_classified_as_X28

          1. Why the switch from past tense (saturated) to present tense (is directed)? You’re talking about a flare on November 4, 2003, and suddenly “the Earth will receive…”. What kind of scare tactics is this?

  2. Heavy rain in Australia and France:

Torrential rain has pelted the district over the last three days.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) gauge at Taree airport recorded 491 millimetres of rain over the last 72 hours.
About 330mm has fallen at Moparrabah, west of Kempsey, since 9am Wednesday.
Other intense falls include 286mm at Bellingin, and 218 at Thora.
    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05-22/thousands-people-isolated-floods-rain-continues-nsw/105320572

Gil Bernardi, mayor of Le Lavandou, said in a press conference according to Le Parisien that “255 mm of water fell in one hour, causing an enormous wave”, describing “torn-up roads” and “torn-down bridges”.
“There is nothing left, no electricity, no drinking water, no wastewater treatment plant,” the elected official also described.

  3. Electrons at Alert Level again Thursday, 128F in the Garden of Eden. Ave is 102, last year was 110. I could put the city’s Accuweather link on but nobody cares.
Spink did you see the SO2 plume go over Australia this week making it rain? The SO2 plume is still on the map now over Oz. Did you see all the quakes N of Oz that made the SO2 plume making the rain in Oz now? Can you see the SO2 plume going around the low pressure over Sweden making it rain in France? A foot of snow forecast in the Alps the next ten days from volcanos erupting from solar flares.
Can you even look at the SO2 on Windy.com? I don’t have a Smart Phone I have A PC and a monitor. I don’t know if SO2 on Windy.com can even be seen on Smart phones, the people I’ve asked can not get that on their cell phones there is an ap for cell phones with no SO2. Nobody I know in real life gives a shit about it enough to even try to look at it on their phone. All they care about is what’s on Facebook.
I don’t have Facebook I watch SO2 and weather on Windy on a bigger size screen than a stupid Smart phone I don’t even want a Smart phone.
A foot of rain in Frogland. woww. Last time I went to Hawaii we were studying volcanos camping in pup tents and it rained 4 feet in 3 days the same Spring Mt St Helens erupted.
Maui fire in Lahaina was from Hurricane Dora from heat from solar flares. The hurricane passed S of Hawaii gusting 150mph. Hot downslope winds started the fire knocking trees down but the wind turbine’s powerlines were still active. Dora gained strength from Mexi volcano and headed for Hawaii volcano heat which the volcano was erupting from solar flares. Tallest volcano on the planet. Dora was New Moon, Mercury in retrograde and Venus was going by Earth. Takes 5 seconds to look that up.
Lahaina fire was another Mercury in retrograde/solar flare event. Electrons/heat graph the temp in downtown Lahaina and the electron chart. Cali fire this year was from a solar flare, electrons. Get a chart of the temp there and match to the electron chart spike. No shortage of events just the will to do the work.

    1. Dirk –
I have the Windy app on my smartphone. I just checked it and found SO2 on it. There’s a lot of SO2 in the south part of the US right now.
