2 degrees C is above freezing. Last winter I spent two solid weeks snowed in, waiting for temps to climb UP to 0C so the snow would start melting. Be happy with what you have, lol.
We drove through panhandles up towards wichita , kc, des moines on our way back from phoenix, 4 degrees F and bizzard conditions. No bueno at all around february 17th, 2025. Very very cold for that area. Glad u survived.
I make a point of stocking up when snow is forecast and I have backup heat, light, and storage batteries in case of power outage. I get stuck here as a regular thing in the winter, never more than two weeks, so far, anyway.
