Keep up the good work Cap. I made it through the first Siberian cold wave. It reached 9 degrees and stayed there for several days, versus the norm of 45 degrees. The weather shut everything down for days here in NW Oregon. I suspect more cold is coming this winter. Scary thing, the GSM is only just beginning. Preparing for more cold.
This US cold snap from cyclones from biggest flares of the cycle. Texas freeze 3 years ago was from cyclones from solar flares. The glacial periods usually last about 90,000 years while the interglacial periods usually last around 10,000 years, it has been 11,700 years. The Grand Solar Minimum and the collapse of the Beaufort Gyre, slowing or stopping the AMOC, might be enough to trigger another glacial period.
