The website receives zero funding from outside sources, and never has. The only revenue the site generates is from the kind pledges made on Patreon, from the occasional donation via Paypal, and from the advertising that peppers the articles.
With no financial backers I, in turn, have no agendas and no particular world view that I am beholden to. I am free to discover the truth regarding Earth’s climate and can openly discuss wider cosmological topics, too — wherever that takes me.
