The first words in the sub-title are “Wind power is essential to fighting climate change…” so I stopped after a short viewing. I get enough leftist propaganda of all sorts to voluntarily wade through the whole article.
I once designed an A Frame house with wood heat, all DC appliances like an RV, and the roof covered with solar panels. This was long before the words “carbon footprint” were heard in the land. Or even “off grid”. It had a DC TV in it, so it was before I threw out my TV 20 some years ago.
I had a burning desire to live independently going back to the 70’s.
A wind turbine or two would have been quite welcome. In the generations before me, windmills were used to draw water up for cattle on ranches. I’m sure they did not use rare earth minerals or destroy bird populations.
People who think wind farms will save the earth do not realize that they are as thoroughly brainwashed as those who think big power companies are necessary. Individual people, living independently, just naturally protect the environment
But it all begins with a right relationship with God. If you reject Him, He will reject you as well, and you will become subject to evil forces which not only want to destroy the earth, but all humanity as well. The minds of the majority of people on this planet are in thrall to these people, which is why it is so hard, if not impossible, to wake people up.
All of Creation awaits redemption…..”It won’t be long, now”…a new Heaven and a new Earth.
Romans 8:18-25
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected [it] in hope;
21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
23 Not only [that,] but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for [it] with perseverance.
Deb,
“The Canuck”….that’s what the East Texans & Cajuns called me when I supervised Fraccing crews in Louisanna.
1 Samuel 12:24-25
24 “Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
25 “But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”
Just trying to stay on target.
Good ole’ Cap, “A Pirate Forever”….keeps us all gathered together on what our Kings deny.
Not interested in being swept away with our King.
Keepin’ my nose clean.
How sustainable is wind power?

I caught you a delicious bass.
I wish!
It’s been 45 years since I ate a delicious bass.

Pretty good for a crazy Cannuck, Jim.

I don’t spell as well as I used to. Dementia is setting in, but I’m not worried. When I was young, I had more brain cells than was good for me.
Interesting scripture. Hope you can stay on His good side. And Cap, too.
Check out Psalms 2:9-12.
