  2. Another great article, I am looking forward to a colder north America, I still want to find a better (small) wood/coal stove. The one I have is ok and will work, Something that can handle coal a little better.

      so use small amounts and watch carefully.
      Now if u can get Cannel coal it is 5 times hotter then anthracite. Get a heavy coal grate first. Be good and warm.

  3. Correction:. No need for category 5 designation any more. Hurricane intensity is on the decline since 1995, as I can clearly tell. With the exception of a few active seasons in 2005 and 2020, the overall trends have been weaker for long track cat 5 or 4 systems. The ones that do reach 5 have been shorter lived since the mid 90s. In fact, the last time the east coast of the US had a direct hit from a major hurricane was in 1996 with Fran. Look at all the years since 1996, there really haven’t been any. Some might question the one in ’99 such as Floyd. Although close, it weakened to below cat 3 before reaching Eastern NC. In 2004, several hit Florida, but the ones that reached the east coast of Florida weakened before landfall. Charlie was a major, but that hit the SW part. Some will question Katrina. That reached the east coast of FL as a cat 1. Again, no major direct hits on the east coast in 2005. After that year, most of the major ones hit the Gulf coast and other locations of the Caribbean or remained in the Atlantic. Then in 2017 we had an uptick of activity thru 2022; however, most of the major landfalls remained confined to the Gulf coast, FL Keys and Caribbean. Now in 2019, Dorian cane to mind. However, it stalled off the east coast of Florida, weakened and reached SC as a cat 1 in the end. In 2020, several storms grazed the East coast, but none made landfall as a cat 3 or higher. In SC for example, no major hurricanes have made landfall since Hugo in 1989. The frequency of major landfalls appears to be declining, at least along the east coast of the US, as are the long track cat 5’s in most basins. Long Island hasn’t had one since 1938 and we’re not seeing anything nearly as strong as the Labor Day storm of 1935 or Hurricane Camille anymore.

    Hurricane Ian in Florida Sept 2022 was from solar flares from Mercury in retrograde. Third most costly storm ever on the planet. Deadliest storm in Florida since 1935.

    Can’t get property insurance in Florida from storms the last few years all the companies went broke. Foreclosure rates went way up nobody can afford property insurance, market crashed from storms from solar flares.

  5. Kenneth, that was an excellent run down on how hurricanes have declined in intensity and landfall occurances in the US. The result is that every hurricane that does reach landfall in the US is automatically assigned to Anthropogenic Global Warming/Climate Change by 5he AGW Cult.

          1. Hurricane Dora is the first event recorded on this pute. Caused the Lahaina fires. This is my fifth pute in six years, they all die all the data just gets trapped. I’m a tech trog. I can’t type now too much pain reading this damn comment box. I had stomach surgery almost went back yesterday.
            Need a serious reasercherrrr with skills I can’t type it’s one finger and a flashlight at night.

    3. Hurricane Sandy, October 2012 from flares. I watched it form North of S America and saved satellite pics all the way up the East Coast. Big solar flares , big hurricane, I’ve watched all the flares and cyclones I could watch 24/7 telling folks aboot it, eh? 99.9% of folks never heard of it, trying to change that one day at a time.

            I’ve been reading Genesis 1 -2 lately and got inspired to try out that helpmeet roll. You’re the closest thing to a man in my life right now (I know, it’s really sad, hunh, but hold your tears, folks-if I’m not crying’ you shouldn’t be either). So I thought I’d try to help you, since you seemed so distressed. So far, it’s not going very well, but I’m not really a quitter.

            So let’s start over, okay. Just keep your fingers off the exclamation point. I think what we have here is a failure to communicate.

            Now just imagine yourself in a lab with a white coat on and empty coffee cups sitting around and a notebook full of figures in front of you.

            Take a deep breath and say to yourself, “I am a scientist, I have a theory I want to prove to the world. I’m just going to calmly take notes and then I am going to publish them and everyone will see that I am right. Patience and persistence is my watchword.”

            Then see if you can just jot down a few facts and figures for us.

            I wouldn’t have the least idea how to find a solar flare or a hurricane if you didn’t furnish links for them.

  10. If someone would make a really good vid about planetary alignments, solar flares and hurricanes/typhoons it would show how the system works. It could go viral, is there any other good vids of that? I don’t have the tech skills.
    Less hurricanes are from less and smaller solar flares from low cycles. Carbon would have ramped up hurricanes after Katrina but the flares were smaller in SC24 and this one so far.

  12. The good Dr. Z tells it like it is or as it’s likely to be.

    I’m just a reader but the leading scientists and honest academics highlighted by Cap, and earlier on iceagenow where I read these issues for years, all use similar reasoning, reasoning that seems sound to me.

    What I don’t see is an correlation between solar flares and immediate weather or volcanic events on earth. If pulses of heat were wreaking havoc on our planet, it seems to me this would have been noticed, studied and proven centuries ago. The information Cap provides RE solar flares deals more with the geomagnetic effects of these flares and with how they yiend the pretty auroras at the higher latitudes.

    But, everyone has their own ideas, I reckon, and discussion is good for the information sharing.
