CO2 freezes at -78 C -109 F. As the grand minimum takes hold and further reduces temperature will it sequester quantities of CO2 in ice. Makes you think the Antarctic ice core samples could be suspect. Concentrate layers of frozen CO2.
The parts of Antarctica that the see temperatures below -78C are pretty dry, so any frozen CO2 is likely to evaporate, even Vostok doesn’t stay that cold for long periods of time, before it gets buried by new snow and incorporated into the ice sheet.
The problem is altitude. Solid CO2 will only form at high altitudes at lower temperature and pressure than at sea level, and the quoted areas I think are higher altitudes.
Unfortunately, Allen, in this global, ‘net driven world, where fake data rules, politiccs touches everything.
Unfortunately (again) I am grading our wonderful internet as a net-negative for humankind, as the powers-that-be use the instand communication and social and “news” megaphones for their power driven agendas.
Everywhere we look, those with ill intent are largely in charge of the daily postings, facilitated by a complicent media pushing the messages du jour.
Even if the informational reality of a given situation eventually wins out, this victory is of a trailing distinction. Such as in the assessment of the global climate, where the consensus is beginning, I think, to tilt against the climate scammers. But this general “winning out” comes too little, too late as the die is cast and the damages is done.
I again make the assertion that the beginning of the end of widespread individual freedoms began with the development of the microchip.
It’s true that TPTB use the internet to push their agenda, but it’s also the only way sceptics/realists can reach an audience. If you didn’t have access to the internet would you of found out that global warm is a scam or the covid vaccines are ineffective and have numerous serious/deadly side effects?
Yes, of course. But us ordinary regular people, the good-guys, are always behind the curve.
In this modern/internet world this instant publishing of supposed data and the messaging accompanying it allows “then” to always be on the offensive, politically and socially, while we-the-people, including some good politicians and business leaders – who just want to live normal lives – get swept along.
I worked outside my whole life. Destroy raingear and boots in one month fighting the elements. Nobody on the net had to explain warming was BS out working in the snow.
I watch weather sats and solar flares full time. Quakes, volcanos. Gonna do that till the net goes down. I don’t wanna miss anything. Can’t wait till the next alignment. When is it?
Ok, these refugees in Seattle want the gov to hurry up with the free housing. I wouldn’t qualify to rent and apartment in Seattle or on the West Coast USA. I could not afford to rent an apartment. Trailer space rent in a trailer park is now a grand a month!! WTF makes these refugees THINK they get free housing? If I go New Zealand because I don’t like the US gov will they give me free housing? Anywhere? Thousands of homeless folks from here can’t afford housing there’s more people than places to live. There’s no empty anything waiting for a renter or buyer. Commercial real estate is half empty from Covid , don’t need commercial construction. Recession. Half of small biz Nationwide did not make April rent! 50 million wetbacks now in the USSA. Give us free stuff. NO. Go get a fooking job like I had to I read the book Invasion by Michell Malkin in ’09. My wages got cut in half in ’93 from the invasion. Glad I’m out ‘ere in the forest, I escaped just in time. https://komonews.com/news/local/seattle-refugees-encampment-powell-barnett-park-central-district-migrants-asylum-seeking-process-quality-innkent-hotel-venezuela-congo-central-africa-tukwila-church#
Looks like just another normal day on the Windy infrared sat view because it is. https://www.windy.com/-Satellite-satellite?satellite,50.694,-88.058,3,i:pressure
Looks just the same as back in ’98 when I got my first pute to see where all the rain was coming from. TV doesn’t show enough to see anything. It just kept raining and raining. La Nina. Got to watch global weather sats. AOL dial up. Happy as a clam. See beyond the horizon through the fog. No more waiting for the TV weather report. Weather Channel junk. They’re still junk even their website. Crap. Useless crap/ You ever go there? What a joke. Same garbage they had twenty years ago after all the airtime money and global warming payola. https://weather.com/maps/satellite/caribbeanweathermap
Pathetic.
Maybe you should write a book. I don’t wanna write a book or make a website. I’m waiting for the UAH GT update, how long does it take to put a dot on a chart?

I think it would do you a world of good to go on an extended fishing trip and leave the Internet behind.
If you get a boat, you might go up and down one (or more!) of the really long rivers in this country. If you have a motorcycle, you could pack it on board and park your boat in various interesting places and tool around.
I have considered the same sort of lifestyle with my motorhome, only going up and down mountains instead of rivers. I never learned to ride a motorcycle, tho, one of life’s disappointments, so I’d have to pull a vehicle behind me. I wanted to park and sketch, park and sketch.
Right now it doesn’t look like I’m going to make it, but all things are possible with God.⛵🏍️🗻🚌
If I do write a book, I’m going to call it “The Various Errors of the Protestant and Catholic Churches or How Satan Divides the Church of Jesus Christ.”

Cap, I do recommend that you stick to the science and stay away from political comments, unless directly related to the science.
I do try my best.
Noted though.

Maybe you should write a book. You don’t have to type these days, just talk to your computer. My phone is always begging me to talk to it, lol.

I should buy a boat and go fishing. Leave the internet at home and not think about the BS on it.

(I probably shouldn’t have said that –now I’m likely to be under spiritual attack. Oh, well, been there, done that.)
