Japan has way more snow forecast than China. China has dry air in a high pressure area which is going into a hurricane south of Kamchatka. The cold dry air is being pulled off Asia over Japan picking up moisture from the Sea of Japan. The hurricane is from Pacific Ocean heat rising North same pattern right there for the last few years. The cyclones head to the Gulf of Alaska who has the most snow forecast on the planet. The pattern drops most of the moisture along the Gulf of Alaska down into BC Canada and not much makes it past there. NW US is very dry, mid US dry. I posted the pressure map above on Friday morning and it’s still showing the cyclones there now 68 hours later. It takes major cyclones to pull the cold air down from space much like the movie Day after Tomorrow. Cyclones higher North have colder air available. Cyclones are heat driven, the hotter the input the higher towards the poles they rise. Volcanos also provide heat required to generate the cyclones. Kamchatka cyclone from heat. East Coast cyclone now is from heat. 59 million on E Coast US under flood watch. Dec Hurricane. Winter in Central Russia began with snowfall. First, a cyclone whitened the streets, setting records for snow cover, now another whirlwind, coming from the south, brought not only warm air but also new records.
In Moscow, the largest snowdrifts are observed at Moscow State University, their height reaches 49 cm. In the Moscow region, the largest snowfalls are in Kolomna, 47 cm – this is a record for this day, and the maximum snowfall height ever observed in December was 48 cm (December 31, 1988). High cloudiness, up to 47 cm, was recorded in Vnukovo, 39 mm in Kashira and Naro-Fominsk.
In Tula, the height of the snow cover reached 45 cm, with up to 15 mm of precipitation falling per day. In the Tver region, snowdrifts grew up to 36 cm in Toropets and Tver. USA’s Wells Fargo Bank closed almost all branches Nationwide yesterday and today Saturday. They say they will be back open Monday at 9am, so that’s nice. I haven’t heard about this on any news sites anywhere, there’s no reason given by Wells Fargo. I’ve been surfing YouTube sites looking for news on it. Nothing. I went there yesterday at 10am Friday, closed. It’s a fifty mile drive one way to the Wa St Capital of Olympia. Not some remote branch, Something big is going down.

A couple weeks ago I put up Youtube vids of coal and oil trains going through my old hometown in Wa, the coal and oil bound for China. Also the container trains in between with stuff from China. I had salmon last night out of the freezer, so yummy.
