My fear is that our political leaders will continue to push the pagan religion of Global Warming, creating an energy disaster that will truly hurt many citizens and unfortunately threaten the very lives of so many. Looking at the cold NW setup next weekend on Windy.com, it starts with a Low Pressure over Oklahoma on Monday. Heat coming up from Mexico forms the Low, 90F in S Texas and Mexico. The Low moves NE to Ohio by Tuesday and there’s a High pressure off Cali. Warm air going up the E Coast US, cold air going down the W Coast US and inland. Several more Lows go through Texas by Friday one ends over Kentucky and another Low over Idaho. High pressure off Baja. Cold air hooking down around the Low pressure areas. Warm air going up the E Coast US, 83F in Florida, 90F Yucatan Mexico, 90F Cuba, 100F Venezuela. Heat rising, cold air sinking down the land mass.
Windy.com downgraded their cold forecast a while ago for next weekend. It was showing -20F Mammoth Mtn Cali now showing +34F. 54 degree minor adjustment while I was outside checking the mail. By accounts, we can thank the Jaunary, 2022 Hunga Tonga undersea volcanic eruption for delaying the onset of the beginning of a colder climate by injecting such a massive amount water into the upper atmosphere. The warmth-trapping water vapor quickly spread all over earth and I believe global average temps actually increased a bit.
As that extra moisture is wrung from the layers of our atmosphere, such temporary warmth will likely make the descent into a cooling world see all the more harsh.

Cap, tremendous work here. I was able to update my family and grandchildren headed off to adult life, of what is upon us now and growing. We have 24 grandchildren who are going to face this human catastrophe – the largest in the modern era. Please know that it is so, OK, to repeat yourself. We and all we love, need to hear the truth, over and over so it becomes “hardwired” into who we are. The tiny changes may be small, but they, together, are going to rewrite the history that today’s leaders believe is coming upon the world. Yes, the weather is changing, but it is not changing because the world is getting hot. The world’s weather is changing because of some very complex systems all working together. The weather change is not as simple as the use of oil and gas. The reason the Earth has the ability to grow to and sustain, 8 billion people, is solely because of oil and gas and the energy that it has brought to grow food and to keep people warm, and be harnessed to do work.

3:15 PM Sunday the Hurricane is still S of Greenland gusting N 77mph. Another Low Pressure is off Boston bringing snow to the NE US and Canada. The two Lows are working together to pull cold air down into N America from the Arctic. A High Pressure area is N of North Dakota in Canada, the cold air railing down the W side of Hudson Bay into Manitoba. Thompson Manitoba reading -17F. W of the Hurricane it’s -18F.
The other Low Pressure area Barometer 28.25′, gusting 60mph is still in the Bering Sea Alaska bouncing off the ice sheet there and pulling cold air down over E Russia now reading -60F. SC25’s sunspot count peak in June ’23 was from planetary positions and alignments. All of the planets are spread out evenly around the Sun now. By the third week of Feb all the planets are on the same side of the sun except Earth. Different distributions through the year. In Nov we’re all in the same third of the pie and Mercury starts going by all the planets for five weeks. That could be the second peak, higher count than June ’23. There’s a big alignment on Jan 25th and more alignments through the year scheduled with lots more sunspots and flares possible.
