I’ve been wondering for 20 years, since I first heard the theory (if you can dignify the stupidity with such a word) of global warming, how it is that any person on this planet could be unaware of the basic principles you just stated, since temperatures go up during the day and down at night pretty consistently, day in and day out, year after year, century after century, all across the face of this planet. People move from the shade into the sunlight to get warmed up, but cannot see the connection between “sun” and “warm”.
People have been stating what you just said for at least as long as global warming has been a thing, and what percentage of the population still thinks it’s due to CO2 and that we must give up fossil fuels and cows because the latter fart too much?
Anyone who believes this world can ever be set right is living a delusion, and they probably believe Trump is going to make America great again, too. Har, har de har! 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, the Sun has a major impact on our climate. However, without the greenhouse effect the Earth would tend to be an icy planet, some 20-30C cooler.
The Alarmists don’t seem to understand basic Physics, unlike Max Planck who understands the physics of the greenhouse effect and clearly believes that any increase in CO2 levels will have a insignificant effect on global temperatures.
The “science is in” is a very unscientific statement as science is about retesting hypothesis as new data becomes available. So, as it became obvious that the correlation between CO2 and warming was weakening, not happening, the Alarmists changed the subject to a qualitative topic…Climate Change!!
And now we have the Net Zero religion. One thing, they are persistent!!
I worry more about global cooling as a colder planet would not be able to support our current population and would lead to mass deaths and battles for survival.
