The newly opened Trans Mountain Pipeline, shipping landlocked Alberta crude oil (bitumen) to tidewater in British Columbia for $34 billion, will now be complimented (complicated?) by a proposed $16.5 billion carbon-capture project. I believe that these carbon-capture, sequestration efforts are antithetical to human existence and will be seen to be a crime against humanity. With the predicted entry into a Grand Solar Minimum, on a Maunder Minimum level, by 2032, the last thing we need is wasting time and treasure on reducing our food supply capability.
