OMG I know it’s all very interesting except in the lower 48 right now, where it’s pretty mild at this time. We need to get some of that record smashing snow to come over here!! Right now we’re seeing fog and 63F yesterday. A little depressing. Get that -70 degrees over here!!!
Facebook post:
63.8″ of snow has fallen in just the last 12 days in Juneau!
*This is the snowiest 2-week period ever recorded in Juneau, and it’s already the 2nd snowiest January on record (with just 6″ needed to move into 1st place).
*The snow has ended for this current story cycle, but as temperatures warm, *Alaska’s capital city is now seeing rain, creating a slushy, icy mess.
*We’ve already seen at least one roof collapse, multiple avalanches, and now another round of boats sinking in the harbor.
If the United States government has plans to invade South America during the Grand Solar Minimum and they probably do. Governors national guard troops present an obstacle. An operation that would require the bulk of the US
military would leave Washington vulnerable to reprisal by governors. The southern border is an opportunity for the feds to
take control of the national guard troops. Saw this coming now here it is.
Brave shows everything…no problem Cap.
Metcalfe County KY JAN 6 is 64°Fat Noon local AND FOGGY/RAINY…🤮
A week ago it was at 3:00am it was…-5°F and CLEAR!!!
Proves your point on Jet Streams being affected by lack of Solar Energy output.
Yes, record smashing snow… what you don’t mention, is that it’s due to record smashing atmospheric moisture driven by record high ocean heat. Sorry, but you’re not fooling anyone with your denialist nonsense.
Hoo, boy: The oceans are boiling. If so, then I can catch fish already cooked. The denialists are the ones who are insisting on the global warming narrative which is simply at this point, Old Hat. Nonsense. But there are those who have the incredible need to feed into this religion / belief system to their detriment. Let them live cognitive dissonance. Serves them right.
Thanks for what you are doing, Cap. Telling truth is not popular.
130 thousand years ago hippos splashed about in the Thames.
The average global temperature was about 6C warmer than today.
As with all very warm periods ,mankind absolutely thrived.
There was 3,000 feet of ice right here NW US where I live 10k years ago. It all melted and there was a big lake a thousand feet deep. The lake all drained out into the ocean in a giant surge, then Pacific Ocean water rushed back in and made an inland sea. Sea lever was 300 feet higher than now, my house would be under water as I’m at current sea level.
The Olympic Mountains behind my house were a volcanic island in the Pacific Ocean and the structure is the same hot spot as Yellowstone Super Volcano. The plate moves over the hot spot and there’s many former Yellowstone Volcanos between here and there.
The only thing that stays the same is everything changes. https://assets.jlscontent.com/photos/wanwmls/206/172/2061724.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXEQeTg0Xww&t=2s
Already at the end of the first ten days of January, snowfall in the capital began to exceed the climatic norm. And in the second half of the month, the deviation in the height of the snow cover from the norm became even more significant. On Saturday morning it was 45 cm, which is one and a half times higher than normal.
But snow cover is far from record high. The largest snowfalls on this date – 57 cm – were observed in 1956 and 1994. https://www.hmn.ru/index.php?index=1&ts=240127100352 https://www.gismeteo.ru/news/weather/v-moskve-snezhnyj-pokrov-v-poltora-raza-prevyshaet-normu/
Hello Cap Allon. Could you post the link of where you got the information about your ‘global cooling inbound’ section of this post or could you summarize the global cooling predictions of this article. Thank you.

What was the content which was blocked by Edge. The missing content should have appeared after the send paragraph which ends “…left to doit.”
It was this Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/MelissaFreyWeather/posts/783178696967979?ref=embed_post
Please could others let me know if this is failing to show.
Like Simon said 😉 , Firefox did not show it either – just a big white patch. As for here, I see a link to facebook.
Interesting… thank you pearl.
Cap, I just tried the link above it said, “This content isn’t available right now.”
Jim
It’s possible my link had some goofy ‘extensions’ — I’ll look into it.
Thank you for the information Jim.

It works fine on Firefox!
The Facebook page about Alaska snow has a link to this article, and the tweet (which is the graphic for the Facebook link, is imbedded in the article

Bad, bad anthropogenic climate warming. Good to have solar, wind and water for power generating in this demanding times…
PS: Cap, PLEASE set the color to below #666, or do I really have to write a Firefox extension to have color of the comments visible when I write them?

I think I am seeing everything today, Cap, on Chrome desktop browser.
The last day or two, I missed some pix or graphics. I could only see the small failed-image indicator and a iarge white space.
This reply text is still too faint.
The big message here is THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!

What effect would you expect increased snowpack to have on the global climate?
