Fortunately, thanks to the best politicians of all time, in the climate theocracy Germoney we have a absolute reliable and inexpensive energy supply from solar, wind and water, which is truly essential in such conditions. [cynicism off]
Why you avoid talking about the HOT winter in Europe or the Midwest? The temperatures in these areas have been on the warm side MOST of the time and thats facts.
The MSM have the hot weather covered, I offer balance. What the mainstream won’t tell you, however, is that low solar activity (via its weakening of the jet stream) can result in extremes at both ends: hot & cold — no mythical CO2 boogeyman required.
Also, you don’t appear to have a subscription , so I assume you’re basing your critique solely on the headline?
It’s a slight oversimplification to say that low solar activity leads to a weakening of the jet stream. At least on a regional basis terrestrial factors can have a strong influence on the jet stream. Last month when there were major polar plunges across the US this resulted in a sharp temperature gradient between the US and the Caribbean. This fired up the jet stream as it went across the Atlantic. The strength of the jet meant it was zonal and the UK, and probably all of Western Europe saw pretty stormy and very mild weather. In the last week very mild air has pushed north across central areas of N America, with high temperature anomalies centred around S Hudson bay. This has resulted in a much more gradual temperature gradient. The result is a weak jet stream across the Atlantic which is about to become meridional and deliver a polar plunge, with heavy snow, to parts of the UK and possibly N Germany and Poland.
Earth’s axial tilt is slowly decreasing.
When the Earth’s axial tilt decreases, there is more solar radiation at the equator and less solar radiation at the poles.
Is it the Earth’s decreasing axial tilt that causes it to get warmer at the equator and colder at the poles?
Earth’s axial tilt is halfway back to minimum tilt.
We have had a 41,000 year period of heating of the poles with maximum axial tilt.
Now we are moving towards a 41,000 year period of cooling of the poles with minimal axial tilt:
Today, on the 6th February 2024 at noon, Earth’s axial tilt, or mean obliquity was 23,43614° or 23°26’10.1″.
In a repeating cycle that lasts about 41,000 years, Earth’s axial tilt oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees. This change in obliquity is caused by gravitational forces from the Sun, the Moon, and other planets. https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/axial-tilt-obliquity.html
The areas you just mentioned, geographically represent only a small portion of the greater land mass in the northern hemisphere. AKA cherries 🍒.
We don’t live in a steady state universe with a steady state sun. Now that we are Just past the peak point for solar cycle 25, the cosmic rays are already on the increase. The bottom
or Solar minimum of this cycle is looming. Even if we don’t go into a prolonged solar dormancy
we are facing the possibility wide spread crippling winter effects. If the sun does go dormant, thanks to misguided government policies we are totally unprepared.
I enjoy your website and posts as much as any other that I visit for any news. You are correct that I get two barrels of MSM climate change coverage everywhere I turn. You introduce us to many different concepts and many different sources. I appreciate that very much. I suspect your readers. for the most part, are the ones that keep an open mind and really seek the truth, rather than some particular messaging that does not bother with facts.

Hey Crispin,
So sorry you’re having issues.
Make sure you’re logged into Patreon on the same browser that you’re trying to log into electroverse.info on.
Also, I’ve emailed you another solution.

Hi Cap,
I wonder what your thoughts are on geoengineering and it’s impact on the weather. So tired of the crisscrossing planes spraying toxic heavy metals in our skies. Days without the sprays our skies are gloriously blue with wonderful cloud puffs. Seems mankind is always intent on evil.

Bad, bad anthropogenic global warming.

Europe and North America are “Cherries” of the northern hemisphere? 🤔
i see you posted anonymously…i guess you have a global warming agenda?
