The stupid heat isn’t working properly since yesterday. It’s 17F this morning. Looks like a problem with the thermostat. I’m turning on the range and will look into that fireplace. Hopefully we’ll get record smashing snows!!!!!!!!!!!
Be prepared for fires in the south. The big ice storm is about to hit.Branches and trees may come down in the millions or trillions. Fuel load for fires. Southern Governors need an action plan now.
The trees they grow down there are the POWER POLES outside your house!!!
Miles and miles of straight Pine trees 60-100 ft tall. Then a truck passes with 20-40 ft + long poles!!!
Now the rest….the good ole boys use it so no problem.

N Alabama, Friday overnight, Saturday, possibly into Sunday morning: Wintry mix of snow & freezing rain. Temps mid 20s in the overnights.
This is the area forecast, still 3+ days out so it may change. I have most of a large tank of propane for the fireplace if the power goes off.
