Some people are moving to higher latitudes. Look at that stripe across Australia. Too many people are moving here, but I don’t think it has anything to do with temperature.
If a solar cycle is 11 or 12 years in length shouldn’t we reach the next minimum in 5 or 6 years ??? I am new to this so please forgive me if I am way off base. I say this because it looks like we are at the solar maximum now.
No, it isn’t. They have not made the SC26 prediction for next decade. They won’t make the SC26 prediction for years when the mag strength chart shows them the mag strength. Nobody is going to guess it because it would be wrong. They haven’t updated the mag strength chart since last Summer.
Hurry up and wait. https://solen.info/solar/polarfields/polar.html
Does anyone have a phone number for Patreon? Somehow I ended up with two accounts. I canceled one thru the Patreon app.
I’m still paying for account Patreon_145421659 but I can’t bring up Electroverse content. I sent them a message to support everyday for five days and got no response. A phone number would be nice.
Magnetometer spiking from increased solar activity. There can be no sunspots and the Sun still puts out extra energy from coronal holes. GEOMAG storms are stronger after solar max. Don’t know if we are past max so GEOMAG storms could be stronger yet in 10 months. Strongest electron spikes on the chart now are from coronal holes now in place. https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/carrington-9.appspot.com/o/spaceWeatherNews%2Fgoes_mag.png?alt=media
Solar wind speed and density are the two top numbers located on Space Weather.com. This is the same thing that happened ten years ago that pushed UAH GT up to top level and caused the record El Nino. Same thing happened in 2019 after solar minimum. Solar wind speed goes up, temp goes up.
This is why the left got away with all the warming BS because nobody watches space weather and how it changes our temps. They don’t watch it and you guys and gals will not watch it. Same BS as Ice Age Now ten years ago, they would not watch Space Weather only count sunspots as UAH GT went to the top of the chart. Showing them the same Electron Chart reaching top level strength,
These coronal holes will keep increasing the space weather levels for years!! More solar flares and solar wind from coronal holes for years to come until the Polarities go to the Poles and then it starts all over again next decade like in 2019. Look at UAH GT in 2020, record number of hurricanes that year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Atlantic_hurricane_season

Hi Cap
This maximum is higher than the previous one although it often made think the contrary.
Does this correspond to the predictions made by not-only-double-dynamo Sun modellists ? Do you think a minimum is coming in 11 years ?
Best,

That happened to me too and I’m now paying for two Patreons and can’t get rid of the old one that doesn’t work.
Record warm on the US West coast yesterday, the heatwave moves East this week. 77F in Montana tomorrow. 77F in Wisconsin Friday. 80F in New Jersey Saturday. The heatwave has a cold front like most do.
The solar wind density was at 37 protons per cm last night and solar wind is now 599 kilometers per second. The minor solar wind storm produced a great N Lights show down into the US:

Yesterday Ben Davidson said the coronal hole now facing Earth is the biggest ever on SDO and solar wind from that is on the way here.

The Sun’s polarities are not even close to being stable at the Poles which would be quiet Sun in solar minimum. Oscillation is what the O stands for on the NSO/GONG site. Polarities bouncing North and South for years.

Still cold on the Bering Sea, ice still almost down to Dillingham. Nobody is going to drive a boat up there right away and drill baby drill. 1F in Nome, -11F in Barrow.

Wednesday night the solar wind hit 870 kilometers per second. it’s at 765kps now at 01:52am 3/27/’25. This is like a long duration solar flare, the temp goes up with the velocity.
