Social Media and blogs such as this are the media now. I was expecting 302 plus for Trump which is a reflection of what the balanced media were reporting for many weeks prior to the election. With the passage of misinformation laws we are now ever more dependant on picking out our trusted sources. We have to tolerate opinions we don’t like to ensure balance. The reaction of the Loonies that we are seeing now is just psychopathic. On average in life your side will loose every second election. Grow up and venture out of the echo chamber.
For Cap. I have been a Patreon for over a year now, giving you money to support your venture. To date, I have never received any acknowledgment of my support to you. I have attempted to comment on your posts, but in my time zone, PST, Europe is asleep. Obviously, Europe is your target readership being that you live in Portugal. So then, why should I continue sending money to someone who doesn’t care about my input? I will stop that now. You never say/comment about anything that I have sent, via my comment(s), to your post(s). I had hoped that somebody was in my lane here but evidently, I am not able to have any reciprocal communication. Deb is wonderful in her wholesomeness but not relevant in the climate discussion. Local weather is not climate! Goodbye. Billy B.
I’m doing ok. I’m not relevant in the climate discussion because I’ve been involved in it for 20 years and I’m sick of it, although I may take it up again if this unusually long fall is any indication of what we’re in for. It’s about time Missouri got a climate break, but too soon to tell.
I don’t understand your concern, William. Cap nor anyone else rarely acknowledges or replies to my comments…and tha’s okay, this forum is not about me.
Cap is providing valuable information; I appreciate that for its sake alone. While I appreciate the reader comments, including yours, this is not primarily a chatting environmnt, rather a vehicle where we absorb climate facts and figures that offset the main media echo chamber.
I urge you to continue reading and, if you so choose, to continue financially supporting Cap’s worthy effort.
Hi William,
I’m sorry that I don’t reply to comments (very often anyway), but I do read them all and appreciate them.
I work hard to deliver interesting–and what I deem important–daily news articles, but I have little time to offer much more given my other responsibilities throughout the day.
I hope you understand.
Best,
Cap
Stupid IDIOTS like the Guardian gets what it deserves!! Thank God Trump was elected. Not some communist which would have destroyed America with this non-sense Green Revolution trash. USA is now heading in the right direction – thank God. Toyota already announced it will invest in gasoline cars again immediately and Europe will be buying electricity from the USA. Yeaugh babe!!
All we need to do now is close the southern border and drill for oil like CRAZY. We need to get this damned country back on track, AND FAST!!
Another typhoon hitting N Philippines Sunday. The one that just went through there is still a cat 3 SW of Hong Kong. Indo volcano erupted to 55k feet with a 6500 foot lava fountain. Big SO2 plume N of Oz where it’s 109F and sea temp is 88f. Medium sized electron spike on the chart from a solar flare, it was above alert level. Same volcano erupting from other solar flares in the last year.
3am 11/11, 48f and rain. No frost here yet this season at sea level. This storm is leftovers from typhoon in Taiwan. Rain band along the West Coast from Frisco up to N Vancouver Island. Wind 50mph on the coast and N of me 45mph. Low pressure NW of Vancouver Island 29.1″. Watching the storms form down in the Tropics and around to here and then inland. Been watching waves of the jet since the 60s, tapping the barometer, watching the wind direction before weather sats were invented.
Liberals, Leftist and the Democrat Party are a collection of psychopaths. Very dangerous people to society and themselves.
The far left is very scary. The next 2 months are going to be interesting.

I didn’t start out this wholesome. Robert beat me into submission (verbally, that is).
I prefer “country girl”. Don’t know much about farm life.

Kenneth, you poor sap. Dream on.
Honey Buns –
Is there ANYBODY on this site besides you and me? Been wondering that for years…

Another typhoon forming forecast to hit the Philippines Wednesday and go N to Taiwan on Friday. Neither of these two cyclones were in the forecast 24 hours ago they popped up on the infrared sat feeds as the heat plume from the Indo volcano spread in the region. Four Cyclones on the map West Pac Nov 10th. Another remnant S Japan and another off mid Japan heading for Alaska. where it will make more rain/snow then the storm will roll through NW US next week and you can ski on it if you want or buy a snowmobile they’re cheap right now and lots to choose from. Buy a snowcat. Get a job as a snow groomer, ski free. Five feet of new snow forecast Mt Baker next ten days.
