Robert Felix foresaw cool summers 20 years ago. I’m still waiting. It’s 89F in my cabin right now and this is not the hottest day in the week’s forecast. I’m going to have to remove the plastic from my window so I can fire up my AC unit. I just hope it doesn’t plunge back down into the teens. This is March, for Pete’s sake, not July!

The puzzlement was what caused the pattern. Now the question has been answered. It is the new meridional flow of the Jet Stream.
Here is Northwest Oregon, I am waiting to plant my garden until next month. Just now ordering the seeds, and hoping my now flowering plum trees do not get hit by a hard freeze next week. The rest of my fruit trees seem to know what might happen and so far are refusing come out of dormancy.

Last weekend I planted out my garden. I thought I was way late for east Texas. The cold snap we got Tuesday morning killed off about 50% of my plants.

I need to consider a fruit tree. I think a nice plum tree will grow well in my climate.
