I’d move to Nz when it’s Winter here to get away from the cold and try not to think about it. I almost did in November 2007 to get away from the long crappy Winter stuffing logs in the woodstove not even wanting to go outside for months. Gloomy dismal dark cold crappy rainy snowy yukko. No work in Winter ya go broke waiting for Summer or work out in it if there is work and it sucks the life right out of ya. Yesterday I built my peapod trellis up to 10 feet tall and I use fishing line horizontally for the vives to hang on. Ten feet tall in a one foot space of ground next to the pole beans next to the yellow zukes. All vertical to maximize space production.
We have snow here year round on the glaciers everybody can see every day but we still have to pay a climate change tax on gasoline. Mt Hood Oregon is open for skiing today and all Summer. Ya. Mt Adams looking good from Mt Hood, still lots of snow on Mt Adams. I have never seen Mt Hood, Mt Adams or Mt Bachelor in person and I never will. Luckly I get to watch those volcanos through the seasons on the live cams and watch weather at those attitudes just by watching the live cams. Handy.
