Not likely. We will continue to hear the weasel words that shift the narrative a bit at a time, until, like Bill Gates, they are all piping another tune. . Only here in Australia will the last bleatings be heard, as our economy collapses and the chief architect of this demise, Energy Minister Chris Bowen, slithers off to his El Presidente position with the next COP failure. Aussie taxpayers dodged a 2billion dollar bullet when this next gabfest was ceded to Turkey.
It is a shame that so much damage and waste has occurred simply because people determined to construct a message that did not correspond with the truth. I am sure in the early days people took this climate thing on a noble adventure. Because the press, too, bought into it as being noble and the right thing to do, they betrayed civilization leading to this huge waste that has made many a millionaire, or billionaire, like Al Gore. Essentially, a transfer of wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich.
There will always remain some who cling to the man made global warming hype despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. There are those who believe the Earth is flat. The chicken little story never gets old.
As the late John Coleman, Weather Channel pioneer,once was asked on CNN:
‘When will we see things happening?’
His answer:’When it starts to get colder ‘.

I imagine Western nations will, one way or another, pay the costs for Turkey hosting the next COP.
