Zoom out on the Waves function, the sea ice is just S of there then switch to Rain/thunder and thenn New snow. Blizzard. Can’t imagine how nasty that would be going around the Horn right now. Going from EU through that cyclone then into the ice burgs in a snowstorm. Sea temp S of the Horn 38F, life expectancy zero if you fell in.
A band of snow all the way around the new ice sheet of Antarctica, still five weeks till Winter. NZ getting snow, normal. Nothing to fix there.
Switch Windy to PM2.5, volcanic particulates from volcanos from solar flares. The map was blank till SC25 started. Should be a long snowy winter down under, nothing to fix there.
Barometric pressure in that cyclone E of S South America in the S Atlantic Ocean when I posted that was 27.7″. My barometer starts at 28.3″. That’s what pulls the cold air up from the S Pole into S S America. The cyclone is heat driven from heat off Africa from solar flares. Atlantic O is warmer than ave. https://www.windy.com/-Sea-temperature-sst?sst,-6.237,19.902,3,i:pressure,m:c0tafev
I think it’s fair to say that AR3664 is an “areomagnetic” storm rather than a geomagnetic storm. (“Geo” referring to Earth and “Areo” referring to Mars.)
AR3664 was a sunspot number, not a particular solar storm. It put out many big solar flares on it’s way by but ya that last one when the sunspot rotated around the corner smacked Mars. Mercury is right there too between Sun and Mars. Saturn is on the other side of Mars and also Neptune out further. All in an alignment the flare hitting them all. The flare split the gap between those planets and Venus, Jupiter and Uranus all in another alignment which makes a V shape. Earth the only planet on this side of the sun at the tip of the V shaped double alignment. NASA cme model shows a lot of that but not Jupiter and Saturn
Ben Davidson had a less than halfassed report on the alignments on today’s vid, I give it an F. Didn’t show the X9 flare and the alignments even though NASA’s CME model is still showing it right below where his vid plays on Space Weather News. F-
You do realise that April 2015 wasn’t all that cold compared to the historical mean, right? Cap Allon is a professional liar and con man even by denialist standards.
Australia registered a colder-than-average April, according to the BoM (vs the cool 1951-1980 average, no less).
I don’t know what you’re arguing with here…
The weatherzone.com.au article is a joke. Here in Metcalfe County [and most of KY] the temps have been lower than the norm. lived here for 65 years and this time of year is warm not CHILLY.
But I will just POINT & LAFF when people realize Eddy of the EDDY MINIMUM is in control and he is a cold basterd.

Ares is the Greek name for the god of war, known to the Romans as Mars.

Nice sunrise from the Mt Bachelor volcano in Oregon USA cam:

Missed the sunrise, but mountains are never less than beautiful.
You can back the vid up to where the sun is just peaking over the mountain and freeze it. It’s a 10.
Multi million dollar tiny house village project for the homeless is delayed because endangered squirrels which don’t live there anyway but they do thrive in the burbs. The big debate.

I’ve lived in Oregon three different times and different places. One time they were fighting over the spotted owl. Same ol’, same ol’.
Yes, the view over my favorite volcanoes is spectacular.
The Australian BoM has bought an industrial size stove to cook the books. 😉 (Yes, this is a variation on a Babylon Bee article.)

I don’t know why I keep thinking it’s Thanksgiving.
