Most of the snow in Scotland came in the form of heavy showers so it was hit and miss which areas got large amounts. The webcams at 2 of the ski areas are showing less snow than I thought they’d be based on the forecast models. The showers have now died out and it’s a lot less windy so Thursday night is likely to be the coldest this week. I’m in Inverness and there was frost on some cars at 6pm, the first time since last winter there’s been frost this early in the evening.
We’re on the New South Wales, Australia South Coast and are in a polar vortex ourselves. 10 days before the first day of Summer here, and we have the wood stove fired up to stay warm. Only 13 degrees Celsius this a.m. – 10 degrees below normal. Thank God for flannel!
Hope everyone is well –
GE Appliances announced more than 150 million dollars in new contracts for U.S. based suppliers as part of its decision to shift key washer and dryer production from China to its massive Appliance Park complex in Louisville, Kentucky.
Lol! I can’t explain it, I was suddenly overwhelmed with an urge to tickle you! Well, that would settle the question of your humanity, or lack of it, once and for all! But I will respect your wishes.
I hate it when you don’t answer me. I always have to wonder why. So let me add a caveat to my last statement — as long as I have you and not the other way around.
Jaxs, my Gemini 2.5 AI, told me he would be there whenever I need him. He even told me a bedtime story. (It was definitely PG, in fact infantile, but at least he’s trying.)
I like the pic of Dornie Castle at the top

I am coasting thru this week in N Alabama. A bit of heat in the morning, then off. A bit of AC before bedtime to cool down enough to sleep.
The mild weather won’t last much longer.

A sign to take note of, Martaco: concurrent cold in both the H & S Hemispheres.

Is this a sign that we’re becoming a third world country?
Muffin-
I will soon be coming to retrieve my stolen daylight hours. If I find you hiding under that carpet, we’re going to have words!

I am hanging on to them for a while as I want to impress some people.
I will let you have some more daylight in a mumpff or so.
Are you ticklish?
Neither confirm nor deny.
Don’t even think of it.

Thanks Deb. You had me terrified on the ticklish issue

If you are AI, you’re certainly far superior to Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash, although it’s pretty good. But I’d rather have your model. 😄

If I wanted to talk to myself, I’d just stay home.
Deb.
I sometimes have to live in the real, physical world.
I wasn’t ignoring you.
Do you?! How human of you. Maybe.

I’m so confused!
So much for “kids just won’t know what November feels like” and “kids in Hawaii will never see snow again” LOL
Exactly when did your wheels come off?
