7 Thoughts to “Fresh Snow Hits Himachal Pradesh; “Fairytale Landscapes” In Norway; Spring Freeze To Sweep South America; Polar Vortex Disruption; + Happer on Rogan”
This might be the explanation that’s given on the polar portal site, which I wasn’t able to find, but I don’t buy it. The DMI haven’t been showing temperature data from weather stations for at least 2 years, due to a claimed technical fault, and prior to this month it didn’t affect the SMB charts. Pretty much all the weather stations are around the edges of the ice sheet so there’s very little or weather data from the ice sheet. The amount of snowfall is estimated using the latest weather models and so is still available. In October there’s only very small, infrequent amounts of melting when a pulse of very warm subtropical air is pushes over Greenland by a huge kink in the jet stream so satellites aren’t needed to measure melting, although they are during the summer. I still smell a rat.
So Data Feed disruptions can occur when “stations are buried under snow”. Well now that makes sense, especially with all the information coming in about how cold it is becoming. It also could be with all the snow it is hard to dig out the stations and worse those who believe in GW are struggling with reality so are “hoping” for warmer weather to enable them to justify their beliefs. Time will tell, but from what I can tell Mother Nature has no real sense of humor.
As the N Hemisphere is exiting the warmer seasons (seasonal cooling) I suppose we should look for a dramatic tick upward in the Greenland ice balance – accumulation over melt?
“In essence, EU car companies buy Chinese car company carbon credits, to avoid the EU fines. The Chinese car companies can then use the carbon credit revenue to subsidize lower priced Chinese EVs to the European car market, thereby undercutting the European EV car companies.”
–The Euros keep taking careful aim and shooting themselves in the foot.
Has the SMB Greenland site closed down? Can’t access it on Google.
Thank you for that explanation.
