Thanks for revisiting the 97% myth. I am always disposed to ask just what are the qualifications of those surveyed? We hear about Climate Scientists but can anyone name one? That is, a scientist who is expert in Meterology, Geology, Oceonography, Geomorphology, Volcanology, Botany, Geography, Atmospheric physics, Mathematical analysis, Statistical analysis and many others… plus paleo versions of many of these. Most so-called Climate Scientists are expert in just one sphere which may be influenced by climate fluctuations. My wife is one, but she certainly doesn’t claim to be a Climate Scientist.
What was also relevant about the White et al paper was that most of the 33.6% did NOT claim that human produced CO2 was SOLELY responsible for global warming thus, those that did express this opinion were only 3% of the original surveyed number, so 97% did NOT believe that anthropogenic CO2 was entirely responsible; turning the ‘consensus’ on its head.
Climate change makes the cold weather colder and it will get colder if we don’t stop using CO2. Anything that happens is from climate chaos from CO2. Heads they win, tails they win. Good guys only win in fiction.
The grass here I don’t mow is five feet tall, everything is growing great from solar maximum. Do you have an updated GSM chart to show WTF you are freaking out about or do you just make stuff up.
Polar ice goes away from sublimation. It’s too cold to snow and the cold removes the ice through sublimation. They taught us that in school back in the 70s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sublimation_(phase_transition)
Antarctica is too cold to snow inland so ice is being removed by sublimation. It only snows in large amounts by the coast where it is warmer and then floats away as icebergs and melts. It is not stacking up in the middle and pushing down spreading the ice to the edge. Opposite of that. Ice in center is decreasing from being too cold/dry and ice added at the coasts from new snow so Al Gore can stick it in his ear.
Ya sure you betcha. Ice cubes in a freezer go away from sublimation. That’s the freezer’s “Frost Free” job.
Greenland is too cold to snow inland, same thing going on there. Most of the snow is at the southern tip from the warmer than ave Gulf Stream.
Ya, it’s so cold down there the ice goes away not from global warming but from record cold. Ironic, eh?
But they still peg that to CO2. Now they say the cold down there is from climate chaos and it will get worse if we don’t act now.
Climate hysteria is extending its tentacles, ever increasingly, into areas which one wouldn’t think would discuss the supposedly dire (and supposedly getting more dire) state of the world climate.
It was cold in ’09, ’10 and ’11, now it’s not. It’s just right.
I just ignore both sides of the climate nuts because there’s better things to think about.

If it gets too cold I build a fire, if it gets too hot I can jump in the river. No worries, my garden is doing great in this nice warm weather from solar activity in solar maximum.
No GSM cooling crisis here and none is forecast to worry about. Not worrying about the poles flipping. Just work in the yard until the salmon get here this Summer and go fish like every normal year. I already have enough firewood cut for next year because I cut so much last year so I get a break to enjoy the nice warm weather from solar maximum😎
Get a major altitude adjustment and ski here year round on the volcanos. Try to never think about the lunatics. Get way up on the mountains away from all the meatheads. Hike up and ski for free, dig an ice cave and ski all Summer for free. Stay there all Winter if you want, all you can eat free snow year round.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Lake_(Washington) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ysok66zPi8A
I was commercial landscaper we grew plants on top of skyscrapers and inside the towers in display areas you can grow anything you want anywhere. SImulate the habitat. We put a million yards of dirt on one building to grow plants in with full auto irrigation systems. We put lids over freeways and build parks over the freeways. Billion dollar projects. Microsoft is all plants on top of buildings with underground cities. Billions of dollars of work. You can make !50k a year being a commercial landscaper mandated by code to cut down urban heat. Millions and millions of native plants all propagated in nurseries even in Winter. It’s a big global industry, the plant kingdom.
We landscaped Microsoft and lots of public schools tec etc etc but we’d never go inside the buildings. We didn’t care what they do in the buildings it was about how the plants we were doing.
Landscape project managers here getting $120k a year with no overtime for residential work. Babysitters with laptops.
My boss on the Light Rail project started a landscape and trucking company just for the Project and it grew bigtime. The budget now is $152 Billion dollars. Make $90 an hour on OT with no tax says New Bill. Make a grand a day watching the weather with the tunes cranked up. 😎
I started a $3. Worked for a year at $5 on one job. Got up to $20 with lots of overtime at $30 which was good back then.
Then I started building sidewalks etc for $28, lots of OT. We put in 30 miles of sidewalks after widening roads. New crosswalks. Graduated from landscrape got up to $50 per hour lots of OT at $75. Now scale is $60, $90 on OT. Work three 15s then three days of 15s on OT. Get paid to watch the weather with the tunes cranked up. https://www.cat.com/en_US/products/new/equipment/articulated-trucks/three-axle-articulated-trucks/1000032934.html
I mowed the neighbor’s lawns in the 602 for a buck an hour and gas was a quarter. Lunch at DQ was a quarter. How much do paperboys make? Ride a bike around all month for five bucks and save up to buy wood skis and rope tow mittens.
I remember when gas was 19¢ a gallon. I was a kid then. When I first got married, it was 29¢. We used to drive 20 miles into town on the back roads, picking up soda bottles on the side of the road to turn in for the refund, to make enough gas money to drive home. It’s the only way we could get out of the house.

Snow melting here. Lady bugs hibernate under the snow then fly down to the valleys in Spring.

I did landscaping once. I think I made $4.00 an hour.
