Aloha Cap:
Outdoor Temp, at 0800, here in central OK = 78º F – 79ºF. Going out to work in my garden before it gets up to 90ºF, later this PM.
I have become addicted” to your ‘daily’ report and “panicked” when I saw your “headline” – not knowing you had copied the NASA-GISS headlines.
Thank You.
‘Note’ below from Gateway Pundit article by Seth Segal, from July 21, 25: (Re-written in E-Prime)
“Historical temperature data – supposedly — (stays) immutable. Instead, it has become a living document, rewritten to suit the needs of the moment. NASA’s message (stays) clear: the past (changes). It (stays) as what we say (–). The BOM and Met Office (do) likewise.”
BTW, the University of Oklahoma, here in town has decided to “engage in insurrection, by disregarding federal law and becoming a ˆvirtual sanctuary university.” (Quote from the ‘Seth Segal’ – Gateway Pundit article,7.21.25.)
A hui ho’u,
Mr. Steven Blue
Chrome was reluctant to let me come to this site. It said it’s not a secure site. I had to tap the “Continue” button to get here. Not the first time that’s happened, btw.
Then I get here and read the notice at the top of the page! I thought you were a goner for sure, lol!
If you look at the “Daily V5 Water Data from the NASA JPL” which is featured on this page in the right side bar, and you’ve followed it regularly, you could have seen it change the recent past quite often. Trends in H2O appear, then vanish as if they never happened. Perhaps good to aware/verify Cap, wether this is a useful graph anymore.
Please overlook this remark if it has been remarked before.
Yep, I panicked as well, though you were gone. Was a good heart starter for the morning to find it was only a picture. Not Google nutters trying to interfere again.
“…However, the probability speaks for a course [a warming spike] that was determined to a large extent by the underwater volcanic eruption with a lot of water vapor input into the stratosphere (unprecedented quantities, according to this study).”
“A flurry of mainstream media reports, from Bloomberg, The Guardian, Financial Times, and CNN, among other outlets, claim that climate change is causing rising food prices “worldwide,” based on a single new study. This is false. Bad weather has always impacted crop production, and there is no actual evidence that extreme weather is increasing. Globalization of media coverage is simply making it easier to hear about bad weather elsewhere in the world, meanwhile crop production and yields globally continue to set records – a fact the same media outlets largely ignore.”
Heatwave continues, heat index over 100F, actual temps high 90’sF. Until Thursday, when the high temps fall off a cliff, dropping by about 20 degrees. I’m not complaining. I don’t have to go anywhere til Friday. Very nice! Whom should I thank? The GSM? Hunga Tonga? HAARP? Bill Gates?
Has no one downloaded the historical data and preserved it?

One “glorious human belly laugh”.

Looks like the Hunga Tonga injected water vapor continues to dissipate.

If no one steps up to take credit, I’m going to thank God.
