It has been reported that both the recent extreme rainfall in eastern Australia AND the red algae situation in South Australia are due to an unprecedented increase in the temperature of the oceans around Australia which has gone completely unreported. Is it the case?
Extreme rain in the east ended about four weeks ago and at about the same time it rained in South Australia which will help to end the algal bloom.
The oceans around Australia are not at record high temperatures.
The experts who predicted a warm and dry winter and were completely wrong are now predicting a warm and wet summer . Winter was wet and very cold in the East .
I would bet they will be wrong again.
Yet again the Pope shows just how far behind the times he is. Even Greta has given up on climate alarmism and now virtue signals with pointless stunts against Israel. Hopefully the Pope won’t start copying her and take the wrong side in a battle between civilization and barbarism.
You say ‘record crop yields’.I don’t doubt that in past years gone by.2025 has seen a very challenging year.Drought,frosts etc have hit global agricultural yields.From USA to Serbia.Turkey has had poor fruit yields,Brazil on coffee yields affecting US prices.UK has had a poor cereal harvest.Australia had heavy rains.Russia had frosts in spring followed by drought,affecting the largest wheat producer in the world.A recent Analyst has said that food price inflation on vegetables was 40% higher for the Consumer in the USA.
A warning has been made on food price inflation into 2026 due to weather related conditions. A serious concern as we move forward into a cooling climate.
Ah we knew what ya meant…here in South Central KY our Summer was two weeks of LOW 90’s and WET…DRY…WET…DRY and now DRY . Normally late June thru the end of August was our Dry season but this year we received inches of rain in 30 minutes and than a week of Low Humidity with warm temps causing dust of our MUD! And our gardens were a month & a half late getting in due to cold wet weather. But some did good so we bought from them. Chow Baby and get ready for WINTER/SNOW/ICE this Winter❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️⛄

Yes ,because the Jet streams now move as much North to South as the normal East to West , not all crops can do well all the time.
