We are experiencing Hysteria on steroids Down Under with the hottest temperatures ever recorded for August in the North West of the continent. The meridional oscillations are conveniently overlooked as are the below temperatures in the South East. Early snow is covered with warm fuzzy comments about an extended sky season rather than the temperature deviation.
Now that would be AWESOME.
Here in Metcalfe County KY the low 5 mornings ago was 49°F! Now it is 98°F in the shade ar 3:00 PM CST!🔥😶🌫️😶🌫️
🤣🤣🤣 But we got AC so no worries!
Wonder where Deb is at…I know she HATES HEAT so she’s probably sitting in her deep freeze drinking a lemonade slushy 😁😉❄️!
Deb…this Winter will be the kind where the cold wind blows thru your bones so ENJOY the 🔥!
Love ya Deb!!!😁😁😁😉
I’m sitting in my AC practicing stoicism, that’s where I am. But I can hang in there, because tomorrow begins the cooler weather, and I’m hoping to begin my fall projects — carpentry, landscaping, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning! Missouri specializes in short windows of opportunity.
One of those projects is to run a heavy gauge extension cord out my motorhome so I can use a space heater out there this winter. And also cutting firewood for my cubic mini woodstove. Got a lot to do the next couple of months. But it will be nice to get outside.
Love you, too, Waygone!🐈🎨🙃🦝🪚🔨📏☕👍
Do the Northern Hemisphere’s Oceans look colder than ave on the SST anoms map? No, the only cooler than ave areas are where the cyclones are removing heat. Cyclones from solar flares. https://www.ospo.noaa.gov/products/ocean/sst/anomaly/

I just clicked on the Windy SO2 link to see what it shows. Right off the bat I see three cyclones: N Japan, Alaska and Hudson Bay. Heavy SO2
in the Arctic from Iceland volcano. Low over Hudson Bay pulling SO2 from the Arctic into Canada in the cold front. Take a full page to describe the global situation, three hours of typing.
Moove East, the Iceland SO2 lobe off Africa goes into the jet and becomes Hurricane Francine Gulf of Mexico next weekend forecast potential cat 4 right now. .
The Alaska cyclone from Kamchatka has all the precip falling up there no rain here record hot here today Dry since the last volcanic plume rain last weekend.
So you’re back to the hot/dry pattern. It’s gradually cooling down here but not as dry as it should be. Not raining today but the humidity is high. Probably a good thing for the Labor Day weekend. Lots of 🔥 campfires. Up your way, too, I’m sure. Good luck with that.

Excited to hear of your new climate data web site!
Would love to see forecast tools that include Milankovith orbital inputs and Dr. Zharkova’s predicative work.
I recall seeing a video of her talking about running her models back in time to predict previous solar grand minimums, but also forward in time to.
Best of luck!

Record hot forecast here tomorrow from a solar flare. Way warmer than ave today and Sunday too. Our weak mag shield lets in more solar radiation from solar flares but nobody knows how much the weak mag shield is man made from the Space Age and HAARPS. No global cooling
yet that’s for sure.

Dirk –
You have told us in great detail what it’s doing, but how about interpreting all that info for us poor slobs who don’t know how?
What does it all mean in terms of weather/climate for particular areas?

All the energy, wind and rain from the last S Japan Hurricane is going into the new cyclone N of Japan next to Kamchatka being powered by Kamchatka. That cyclone will move East to Alaska and the precip will fall up there.

All the precip going to Alaska no rain forecast here next ten days same pattern for years from solar flares and Kamchatka. Cyclones up north, wavey jet stream from solar flares. WHen the flares stop we go zonal.

I got started scrubbing down my front porch today. Not asking for anything more than that. It’s wonderful to be able to spend some time outside.
It is quite a neat trick to bring us Homer Simpson and have it relavent to your climate events analysis. Well done!
My N Alabama, USA area is baking! But has several chances for rain over the next week, beginning tomorrow.
