CO2 is a heavier than air gas so it will be in heavier concentrations near the surface. As you go up thinner. If it feeds plants it is in the right place. Thank God! We have enough crop losses!
The per cent CO2 concentration is fairly stable with altitude. Near ground level with vegetation it fluctuates a lot as the plants breathe at night, releasing CO2 and decreases during the day as they take it up.
I have heard that the pressure in the ocean depths of 16,404 feet and deeper converts CO2 to Calcium carbonate. That is the reason why the deep sea floor is full of Calcium carbonate.
First Big Strong cold and Autumn Snow Forecast
Storms, snow, cold and frost are forecast for the Southern Region this week
The cold will also reach the Southeast, Central-West and North regions of Brazil
The chance of snow in specific areas of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná is not ruled out. Between the end of Wednesday (28) and the early hours of Thursday (29), snow is forecast in the Serra Gaúcha and in the mountains of the southwest of the state; in the Serra de Santa Catarina; in the Planalto Norte of Santa Catarina, reaching the south of Paraná, where snow may be more likely. https://portal.inmet.gov.br/noticias/tempestade-neve-frio-e-geada-est%C3%A3o-previstos-para-a-regi%C3%A3o-sul-nesta-semana
We in Metcalfe County KY have just NOW planted most of our gardens. We haven’t gotten taters in yet and YES…Wet and cool has this Spring been.
And today is drizzly, low clouds and cool at 69F when it is USUALLY 78F and Sunny!
McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica receive about 100mm of precipitation per year in the form of snow. That is about 4 feet. Much of it will blow away due to high winds.
Where does the snow go? I suppose it compacts down into ice, say into 1/2″ of ice per year. After one million years, that’s 500,000 inches of ice, which is 41,667 feet of ice.
How tall is Everest? I can’t Google it because this comment will disappear if I do, and I don’t feel like redoing it. Another question, how old is Antarctica? If it’s 2 million years old, then the pile of ice should be 83,333 feet high.
Somehow, it seems that something is missing from my equation. Does anyone know what it is?

Seaa temp off N Carolina 80 F warmer than Hawaii!!! Warmer than ave from solar flares.
You could have built greenhouses months ago and already been eating food from them. It’s only rain.
First time you’ve made good sense in awhile. Was it very painful?
Mr. Internet says the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica are the driest place on earth, having received no rain for almost 2 million years.

Well it’s not likely to melt, is it? So wherever it blows to must pile up 4′ per year. How long will it take to reach to the moon?
Ten feet of snow forecast on the coast of Antarctica next two weeks South of S America. Fourteen feet new snow forecast in the Andes.
Too cold inland Antarctica to snow but there is snow forecast all the way around along the coast and on the ice. Cold air inland sinking to replace the warm air rising along the equator.

In case anyone is interested, Everest is about 29000 feet and the Antarctic ice sheet is about 34 million years old.
Why is there not a YUGE pointy mountain of ice sticking out from the bottom of the Earth?
