I have a question, here in north Texas I am eagerly hoping the model which was run which showed summer ending early was accurate. My NOAA weather app is telling me 106 for next week and I’m discouraged. I bragged on your articles to my Dad and told him you thought it likely summer ending early….did I speak too soon? Any change in the models being run? Thanks and keep up the great work!!
It looks as though northern Texas/NM will have a toasty time of it for a few days starting Aug 19, but I don’t see much else.
Generally, this hasn’t been a summer to speak of for much of the U.S., and barring a few brief pockets of heat, that theme looks set to continue.
