Atlantic O still warmer than ave. Sea temp off N Carolina is the same as Hawaii.
Gulf of Mexico is still warmer than ave too, warmer than Hawaii.
Another warm sea temp plume off Equador in the Pacific O following the mag 6.3 quake last week from solar activity. Heat from that area cancelled La Nina.
Should be cold and wet here from La Nina but it’s warm and drought. La Nina a bust from increased solar activity in solar maximum.
Next Mercury in retrograde, New Moon on July 24th ’25 so there could be more X flares and spawn hurricanes early. Time to get ready for another deadly Hurricane Season with the warmer than ave Atlantic O and GOM temps plus the heat plume off Equador !!! 😎
No, not perihelion, planetary alignments. You just don’t watch them so you’ll never know what’s going on. Oh well.
And you can see the Atlantic is warmer than ave on the SST anoms maps. I I’ve been watching that same SST anoms map on the net for 27 years every day, way way before I saw my first solar flare 3/9/2011 on an economics blog.
Norwegian professor Harald Yndestad is saying that planetary perihelion causes colder climate.
He uses the following abbreviations:
Uranus perihelion = U
Neptune perihelion = N
Saturn perihelion = S
Uranus perihelion and Neptune perihelion = UN
Saturn perihelion and Uranus perihelion = SU
Uranus perihelion, Neptune perihelion and Saturn perihelion = SUN
UN, SU, and SUN create a deep solar minimum.
Is Professor Harald Yndestad’s theory that planetary perihelion create deep solar minimum correct?:
Little Ice Ages and the next cold climate period.
Climate data series reveals we are moving into a new serious cold climate period.
Solar forced climate variation has a computed 500-year maximum in 2025, and a 1000-year deep minimum in 2070AD. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULtq1O1OPWc
Ya, ya and ya, Also watch the solar wind density, more protons per cm makes it warmer. Two top right numbers on Space Weather.com: solar wind speed/density.
Solar wind speed and density on the forecast model and the DSCOVR live chart with temp too. Speed goes up, temp goes up.
Solar wind makes it warmer to start cyclones which can pull cold air down from the Poles. Solar wind makes volcanos go off which produce HEAT. Then the clouds from the volcanic plume make it cool. Lots going out there in the big world.

It is the MDR region in the Atlantic that has dropped to normal temperatures.
What is the reason for the temperature drop in the MDR region?
Has the CO2 level dropped?
Or has the solar radiation TSI decreased?
Arcfield weather writes:
The “Main Development Region (MDR)” of the Atlantic Ocean has been in a long-term downward trend that began early in 2025. Water temperatures are now right near the neutral line as we approach the summer tropical season on the Atlantic Basin.

Lull between planetary alignments. There were a bunch of them this year and right now there isn’t one. The next alignment is in two weeks, we get a break. Electrons are below Alert level today for a change. The Atlantic warmed way above average from solar activity then it cooled back down to only above ave.

Not planetary alignments.
Planetary perihelion!
Yes the Atlantic has cooled back down to normal:

Solar wind speed now is down to 375 kilometers per second. No big coronal holes facing Earth now, we’re between the Sun’s polarities on the Sun. Solar wind lull between coronal holes and no solar flares.

Does solar wind speed affect Earth’s temperature?
Higher solar wind speed higher temperature?
Lower solar wind speed lower temperature?

How much do solar protons heat the Earth relative to solar photons?
Top left numbers, I’m 3/4 asleep.
