Rather than being constantly shown the Sea Surface Temperatures which are wildly affected by other factors- weather/wind- and only measure the top quarter inch since ‘convenient’ satellite data records.
We really need to see the Argo Buoys data.
There is no reliable long term temperature data records for the oceans, a bucket thrown overboard or the engine cooling intakes on cargo ships (laden/unladen, calibration?).
But with Argo we can get a small snapshot of ocean temperature changes for the past 20yrs or so
Haven’t heard from Waygone lately. No screaming about the COLD!!!! I don’t keep tabs on Kentucky weather but they are south of us, and here in Missouri it has been consistently, incredibly warm for this time of year. So far.
We had a couple of cold spells that lasted 2-3 days, then bounced back to warm. Forecast for today is 69F. Seven day forecast in the 50’s. The water in the cat’s dish on my porch hasn’t even frozen yet. I’ve had a raccoon on my porch looking for food, and they’re usually in semi-hibernation by now and gone til spring.
Every warm day we get makes this weather more and more unusual for Missouri.
HI!!!
Had a heart attack Deb but” I’m feelinh much better now!”
Temps here dropped to 21F at night but now we are near seasonal norms.
Yet as Cap states this Winter may get very interesteing as in 72F on New Years day and a foot of snow a few days later.
Stay warm and safe yall especially Deb!😘🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️
Welcome to the heart attack club. Have to hand it to modern medicine, my grandfather died from a heart attack at 52. Nowadays we’re making it another 20 years or so. Hope you recover fully. Take care of yourself. Stay warm, lol. 😘
Studies show that the medications modern medicine uses for heart attacks are of no benefit.
Patients only get a lot of side effects from the medications:
The meta-analysis, published in The New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the American Heart Association (AHA Congress in New Orleans (USA), confirms that beta-blocker therapy—one of the most widely used treatments after acute myocardial infarction—does not reduce the risk of death, recurrent infarction, or heart failure in patients with preserved cardiac contractile function.
Hi Deb and Pureblood.
Vitamin K is known/believed to reverse soft tissue calcification and send that naughty old calcium into the bones, where it belongs.
Soft tissue calcification is calcified plaque in the blood vessels, capillaries and aortas etc, constricting blood flow leading to heart attacks and strokes.
Also, think ‘the Mediterranean diet’. Red foods such as blueberries, beetroot, red vegetable and fruit, such as red plumbs, are rich in many types of polyphenols which are also known/believed to clear plaque from the vascular system.
Bear in mind, many/most doctors focus on the compatibility of different drugs and patient health is often overlooked.
I will not get into the unfortunate use of statins.
The bill is in the mail.
Pureblood. Some of the issues are broader than I have identified here but I have identified enough to enable you to do your own research using scientific papers.

In the analysis, half of the participants received beta-blockers and half did not. After nearly four years of follow-up, around 8% of patients experienced a major cardiovascular event (death, recurrent infarction, or heart failure). This rate was similar in both groups.

Many regional daily sea temperature anomalies have decreased by 1 degree Celsius compared to the highest daily measured sea temperature anomaly for the region.
