Rather than being constantly shown the Sea Surface Temperatures which are wildly affected by other factors- weather/wind- and only measure the top quarter inch since ‘convenient’ satellite data records.
We really need to see the Argo Buoys data.
There is no reliable long term temperature data records for the oceans, a bucket thrown overboard or the engine cooling intakes on cargo ships (laden/unladen, calibration?).
But with Argo we can get a small snapshot of ocean temperature changes for the past 20yrs or so
Haven’t heard from Waygone lately. No screaming about the COLD!!!! I don’t keep tabs on Kentucky weather but they are south of us, and here in Missouri it has been consistently, incredibly warm for this time of year. So far.
We had a couple of cold spells that lasted 2-3 days, then bounced back to warm. Forecast for today is 69F. Seven day forecast in the 50’s. The water in the cat’s dish on my porch hasn’t even frozen yet. I’ve had a raccoon on my porch looking for food, and they’re usually in semi-hibernation by now and gone til spring.
Every warm day we get makes this weather more and more unusual for Missouri.
HI!!!
Had a heart attack Deb but” I’m feelinh much better now!”
Temps here dropped to 21F at night but now we are near seasonal norms.
Yet as Cap states this Winter may get very interesteing as in 72F on New Years day and a foot of snow a few days later.
Stay warm and safe yall especially Deb!😘🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️
Welcome to the heart attack club. Have to hand it to modern medicine, my grandfather died from a heart attack at 52. Nowadays we’re making it another 20 years or so. Hope you recover fully. Take care of yourself. Stay warm, lol. 😘
Studies show that the medications modern medicine uses for heart attacks are of no benefit.
Patients only get a lot of side effects from the medications:
The meta-analysis, published in The New England Journal of Medicine and presented at the American Heart Association (AHA Congress in New Orleans (USA), confirms that beta-blocker therapy—one of the most widely used treatments after acute myocardial infarction—does not reduce the risk of death, recurrent infarction, or heart failure in patients with preserved cardiac contractile function.
Hi Deb and Pureblood.
Vitamin K is known/believed to reverse soft tissue calcification and send that naughty old calcium into the bones, where it belongs.
Soft tissue calcification is calcified plaque in the blood vessels, capillaries and aortas etc, constricting blood flow leading to heart attacks and strokes.
Also, think ‘the Mediterranean diet’. Red foods such as blueberries, beetroot, red vegetable and fruit, such as red plumbs, are rich in many types of polyphenols which are also known/believed to clear plaque from the vascular system.
Bear in mind, many/most doctors focus on the compatibility of different drugs and patient health is often overlooked.
I will not get into the unfortunate use of statins.
The bill is in the mail.
For goodness sake Moffin, it is called ‘K2’ and yes it does carboxylate/(activate) osteocalcin so that instead of floating around in the bloodstream and eventually becoming attached to blood vessels and causing calcification in the vascular system, the activated osteocalcin can actually go to where it is needed like bones for instance.
In my unqualified other than my eight years of applied experimentation on myself and in perfecting the art of makeing Natto, also known as Kinema in Nepal, and cheongukjang in Korea and so on….
Incredibly important also is that K2 is ultra important for the proper functioning of mitochondria and adequate K2 in the diet up-regulates mitochondria by 30+% which is noticeable and adds to a feeling of general well being…imo
Study, study , study…. remember also that taking Vit D3 on its own stimulates the production of osteocalcin, however, it is not activated and so taking way too much D3 is not good. This mechanism is employed in rodenticide where the rodent is given a D3 overdose which is quite a lot of D3 …..and that is something to study also. At least now there is a general awakening slowly taking place and so Vitamin D3 is sold with K2 added to it… personally i completely omit supliments in my 60’s and only make sure i have fermented enough soy beans or sesameseeds, or other legume with Bacillus Subtilis which nature has outsourced to produce K2 in the entire animal kingdom….
Some how to make it material is much more abundant if you google “청국장” B Subtilis from a spore
A major reason for fermenting legumes going out of fashion is during the industrial revolution where refrigeration displaced the accidental fermentation of beans and even the intentional fermentation of legumes with B Subtilis ,
B Subtilis is the swiss army knife of the biological kingdom….
Here is a talk of his fast forwarded to where he describes upregulated mitochondria…. remember also the sherpas of Nepal dry the fermented beans (Kinema) and can go higher without oxygen tanks with their K2 that they get from Kinema…
For goodness sake Mike, I stated I had Identified enough to enable one to do their own research.
Why do Australian cricketers abuse people and call it sledging?
Pureblood. Some of the issues are broader than I have identified here but I have identified enough to enable you to do your own research using scientific papers.
If further info can be added…..It is very common, that when a doctor or GP is asked by a patient if taking K2 is ok to take if patient is on blood thinners?
The doctor will usually broadly say it is preferable to avoid K2 if on blood thinners, to err on the safe side.
In my case, my mums heart specialist explained to me that there are no contraindications to K2 with all the new generation of blood thinners. There was only some scant papers concerning Warfarin which is no longer as commonly used.
In our case, mum was given the all clear by the specialist to eat as much Natto high in K2 as she desired.
The trick in my view is to get the doctor or GP to inform the patient about specific blood thinners a patient is taking excluding Warfarin contraindication. This should force the GP doctor to call their specialist consultant and so on before advising the patient ..
Hi Mike from Au.
My main focus is vitamin D3 and the immune system.
You can search Vitamin D and almost any human illness. So, vitamin K2 is a part of that.
Examples.
vitamin d-immune system
vitamin d-cancer
vitamin d-multiple sclerosis

In the analysis, half of the participants received beta-blockers and half did not. After nearly four years of follow-up, around 8% of patients experienced a major cardiovascular event (death, recurrent infarction, or heart failure). This rate was similar in both groups.

My apologies Moffin, however, Vitamin K is absolutely not vitamin K2. They are entirely different from each other.
An even more accurate name of vitamin K2 is is menaquinone
Pureblood. Some of the issues are broader than I have identified here but I have identified enough to enable you to do your own research using scientific papers.
K2M7+Vit D3.
And K1 is phylloquinone.
And Deb is Coolchickybabequinone.
You are right Moffin.

Going by what my mums heart specialist explained.

You’re not nuffin.

K2 is a mountain in the Himilayas.
Vit K2M7 in conjunction with vit D3 removed plaque from arteries. Other forms of vit K do other things.
Don’t forget to take your VitD( eb)!😉
And here in Sweden, we have had terribly cold weather lately. And the forecast also looks cold.
Many regional daily sea temperature anomalies have decreased by 1 degree Celsius compared to the highest daily measured sea temperature anomaly for the region.

I had occasion to have an arterial probe done. While in there, he looked at the arteries at my heart. All free of calcium.
