Remember mid winter 2024-’25 when the Finnish Meteorological Institute stopped working then suddenly dropped its recorded snow gains. Even though they dont start their recording till the end of Oct’ missing the yearly early snowfalls- August/September/October.
Then more recently the Danish Meteorological Institute ‘stopped’ and no records of Greenland SMB gains.
Has anyone looked at the nada Arctic/Antarctic Ice Extent Area, this hasnt been updated since 24th September.

Remember the disgraced David Viner- ‘Children will not know what snow is!’
Seems there is a concerted effort by numerous snow recording organisations to simply ‘Not Record’ snow.
Here in South Cetral KY 20 miles North of TN we got 1/2 inch of snow…earliest by a month!!!
Last night it got down to 21 F. We get that cold in January not November.

What an incredible “icycle kick.” One needs to be of sufficient age to remember the first incredible “bicycle kick”–one that occurs more routinely today. I am an American Football fan but also love what the rest of the world considers to be football and Americans call soccer.

Not just Ottawa and the province of Ontario that have been affected by the unusually heavy November snowfall. Montreal has been as well, which is next door and which is where I live.
